For years friends have asked me "how much to shave your face".  Well....let's find out!  It has finally happened.  After 9 months of the pandemic HR has finally seen enough of the beard.  I've been working with patients who are COVID positive for a little bit and It's time to best protect myself and my family and wear the more specialized N95 mask.  In order to become "fitted" you must not have facial hair.  So here we are.  After 17 years of facial hair...it's coming off...well...maybe keeping a throwback to the 2003 goatee.  

I wanted to go "good" with this and see if I can raise some money  for the shave.  I will donate all proceeds (minus maybe a shot of bourbon) to Memorial Sloane Kettering  Cancer Center (https://giving.mskcc.org/) and the Brigance Brigade (Baltimore based ALS org that helped my Uncle/family - https://brigancebrigade.org/).  

I very much understand how fortunate I am.  I am not sick.  I have a job and doing what I love.  That doesn't mean I am not a stupid level of upset as I type this...but moving on.
