Farewell to Suzie Q

I am Leona Harvin Davis,  a 30+ years resident and former employee of the City of Daytona Beach.

It is with a broken heart that I share the devastating news of the passing of my beloved granddaughter, Suzanne Davis. I lovingly called her "Suzie Q". She was a bright light in our lives. Suzie Q was full of love and kindness and had so much potential. She resided in Homestead, Florida and had begun her studies to become a nurse. She was only twenty five (25) years old. Her loss leaves an emptiness that can only be comforted by the Lord Himself.

Losing Suzie Q is shocking; but we are so thankful for the peace that transcends understanding and comfort of the Holy Spirt.

As we grieve and prepare to celebrate her life, we are asking for the support of our family and friends to help with the unexpected expenses of her passing. Any contribution -no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.

As we honor Suzanne’s memory and say our final goodbyes on this side; we are grateful for your love,  prayers and support. Although absent in body, we are thankful and comforted knowing she is in the presence of Jesus and we will be reunited.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
