Farewell to Papa Shawn: Fund His Memorial

On April 19, we lost a dear friend, father, grandfather, and beloved member of our community. Shawn, known affectionately as “Papa Shawn,” or by his beloved grandson, "Pop Pop," passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.

If you knew Shawn, you knew his passion for handball—but even more, you knew his heart belonged to his grandson, Andrew. Whether cheering him on at football games or sitting side by side watching the Giants, the bond between them was unbreakable.

Shawn was also a cherished part of the NA community. Always showing up with an open heart and a listening ear, ready to celebrate the next person. He will be missed, deeply.

We’re coming together to honor Shawn’s life and help give him the farewell he deserves. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses.
