Hi, my name is Alyssa, Roman's fiance.

On behalf of Jay's family and friends, we are doing a gofundme to help lay him to rest. Jay underwent surgery three weeks ago, and his heart failed while he was having the procedure. The doctors were able to stabilize him and he was in recovery for a week, until his heart gave out on him again. He had to undergo CPR for 30 minutes and did not receive any blood to his brain during that time. Once the doctors got him stable he was on life support for a week and suffered multiple strokes. With less than a 20% chance at recovery, along with the stakes of him not having any chance at a normal life again, the family has decided to take Jay off life support and let him go to heaven, as we didn't want him to suffer any longer. Jay left surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday April 16 at 5:42 pm. 

Everyone who knew Jay knew he was the sweetest, most welcoming man. Jay loved everyone and all he wanted to do was make you laugh, and put a smile on your face! He will be missed. We all love you so much, Jay! Keep on rocking up there in heaven! Until we meet again.
