Farewell to Betty: A Caring Heart Remembered

On July 27, we took my mom to the hospital because she wasn’t feeling good. What we thought would just be a quick doctor’s appointment turned into devastating news which was that she had stage 4 terminal cancer.

Today, on Aug 22, she left us and went to heaven. She was surrounded by family and some close friends.

Betty was the anchor for our family and if you knew her you knew that she was always looking to help those around her. She had the biggest heart and yet was also tough as nails. She was a fighter through and through with the most tender heart. She went through a lot in life and yet still worried about others all the way up until the day she passed. She was a dedicated mom, a committed and present grandma and great grandma, a caring and loyal friend, and a truly beautiful human being. To know Betty was to love her!

She will be deeply missed by all of us and so many. Please help us give her the burial she would have deserved!
