We are raising funds to help cover unexpected funeral and burial expenses for Elizabeth "Beth" Barnes, age 75, who passed away suddenly on April 3.

Beth was a beloved dance teacher and studio owner in Morgantown, West Virginia, who spent more than 40 years shaping the lives of thousands of students through the Beth Barnes School of Dance. Her journey began in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where she trained at the Katy Lyon Dance Center, pursued advanced study with the Russian ballet, and made television appearances before dedicating her life to teaching.

Beyond the studio, Beth was warm, funny, and endlessly caring — the kind of person who called just to check in, remembered every milestone, and made everyone around her feel genuinely seen. She is survived by her daughter Victoria, son-in-law Anthony, and her grandchildren Stellan and Berkeley, to whom she was simply "BB."

Any contribution, large or small, helps give this remarkable woman the farewell she deserves.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Hopwood, Pennsylvania.

A service celebrating Beth’s life will be held at Crawford Funeral Home on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
