Los Angeles has lost one of our brightest stars. Many of you knew Julio Gosdinski - aka "Mr. G" from his twinkling blue eyes and welcoming smile at the historic Carousel in Griffith Park. Julio was a fixture at the Carousel for over 30 years. He knew all of his regulars, and he made every kid who visited feel special. Unfortunately, after two days of feeling unwell, Julio passed away on August 7th.
In addition to being co-owner of the Carousel, Julio was also a devoted son and brother. We are raising funds to help Julio’s family pay for his funeral and memorial expenses. Julio was his mother Trudys' primary caregiver, so any extra funds will be given to Julio’s sister Anneliesse to help pay for Trudys' care during this difficult time.
Julio was truly one of a kind, and will be dearly missed. Thank you so much for your donation.
