I'm saddened by the news I received this afternoon; my turtle passed away this morning on January 16th, 2026. I remember when I first got him, he was the tiniest little guy, being sold at a swap meet for $5, which is all I had that day. My family named him Pancho Fletó. He's been with me since 2014, throughout so many moves, and so many big events in my life. I'm unsure as to what happened. I was away from him for 2 weeks; he was going to be in the care of my family until I could retrieve him to bring him to my apartment. I'm so distraught.

I've called multiple crematoriums for pets, and all the quotes ranged from $250-500 for him. I'm hoping to get help to get him privately cremated. Thank you to anyone who reads and shares this; anything helps.
