A final farewell for Mr. Pete Garza: he was a great man, friend to everyone he met, and always happy. Most of you have probably seen him at our donut shop (Got Donuts) in the corner table if you frequented the store often or seen him around town. To us, he was a family friend who became family to us. Tragically he passed away on 6-25-2024 while cutting trees in Fritch, Tx. He was the nicest man; never angry, always pleasant to be around and helping with whoever needed help from him. He was a family man and someone who believed in God, so we are asking the wonderful community of Canyon and whoever sees this to donate to help his family pay for his funeral and his one last good bye.
