Farewell for Mathew Mather
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we share the recent and heartbreaking passing of Mathew Mather. Those of us who loved Matt have decided to put together a Go Fund Me account for his family and Jordan. As many of you are aware, on top of the long and emotional road ahead for Matt’s family and his loving girlfriend, Jordan, there will be significant financial burdens associated with his passing. As Matt was not in Fort St. John at the time of his passing, his family must bear the costs of returning him home.
Matt was an up close and personal friend who would kindly reach out when his loved ones were in need. He was a home town boy who touched so many lives, and was a well-known and respected part of a pipeline family stretching all over western Canada. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you know just how much love and laughter one single person could embody and how quickly he shared that gift of laughter with everyone. He was a man of honour and loyalty that gave selflessly to those he loved. He mentored many people in the pipeline industry with great pride and found joy in seeing them succeed. His family, his girlfriend, his friends, and his pipeline family were his whole world, and this is the least we can do to help his loved ones through this difficult time.
With the permission of the family, a Go Fund Me account has been setup in Matt’s honor. All donations made to the used directly to pay for funeral costs and to bring Matt home.
From the bottom of our hearts we sincerely thank you.
Thank you Kaylie Hamre with Hamres Funeral chapel for being so wonderful and stepping up as our campaign beneficiary to make sure all funds are going directly to Matt's celebration of life
