Jon Edwards (Eds) passed away suddenly on June 9th due to an Accidental death caused by cross-contamination of medicine.

Jon was a legend in so many different scenes here in Philadelphia—a beloved friend and brother to everyone who knew him, always ready to lend a hand or an ear. As a bartender and restaurant manager, he touched countless lives with his unrelenting humor and loyalty.

His father, David, shared that it “Gladdens his heart to know Jon had so many friends.” He and Jon’s brother Jim will be traveling from England in the coming weeks to arrange a funeral that will include a cremation and wake here in Philadelphia. David also hopes to one day scatter Jon’s ashes in the Forest of Dean, alongside Jon’s grandparents—a place rich with family history and tradition.

We’re coming together now to raise funds to help cover the costs of his services and to give Jon the heartfelt farewell he deserves. He is survived by his son, David, and he will be deeply, deeply missed.
