Far Horizons Montessori School

Far Horizons is one of the few schools in Eugene offering in-person and remote learning opportunities for children and their families during the pandemic. However, the school has incurred many extra costs in making the school environment safe including expenses for cleaning supplies and scholarships for families who cannot afford tuition this year. In addition, class sizes are smaller to allow for physical distancing and this has decreased revenue significantly.

This GoFundMe page will stay live throughout the 2020-2021 school year to continue to raise funds for our wonderful school. We rely on the continued support of our community to ensure that this vital institution remains strong now and long after the pandemic ends. We thank everyone who has donated so far. Far Horizons Montessori School was established in 1964 and has enhanced the lives of hundreds of families across several generations in Eugene. The school has always provided inclusive and enriching programs for children ages 3 to 12. The small and multi-age classes allow children to interact and engage with different age groups while cultivating creativity, team work, and a sense of community. The school offers a community garden, a spirit of caring and nurturing of the environment, a belief in diversity and inclusion, and ample time for children to play.
