As you might know, the UK is in a nationwide spike in COVID cases. This has led to a discussion of increased lockdown restrictions in certain jurisdictions and one of those is Liverpool and its surrounding areas on Merseyside.
Liverpool specifically has been hit hard by the COVID pandemic from both a public health and local economic destruction standpoint.

Many people in Liverpool suffer from food insecurity. This obviously has gotten worse since the COVID pandemic began. A way in which we can help is to donate to Fans Supporting Foodbanks. Fans Supporting Foodbanks is joint initiative between The Blue Union & Spirit of Shankly to collect Food for the needy of Liverpool. They remind us that hunger doesn't wear club colors.

We ask that you please donate whatever you can to help this cause in light of the UK government's potential decision to impose Tier 3 restrictions on Liverpool, which will no doubt cause suffering.
