Friends, my beautiful sister-in-law and one of my best friends passed away yesterday. She went in for a removal of a benign pituitary tumor and had a reaction that was not cared for in time, causing her brain to cease. The family is all broken, and as you can probably imagine, the fury of the expenses is not compassionate.

Fanny is from Puerto Rico; thus, her whole family wants to honor her wishes of laying her to rest on her home island. Therefore, we will have deductible expenses, transport, autopsy and funeral expenses, and giving my sister a bit of a cushion for days of work lost.

Your help will be appreciated as the family grapples with this devastating loss of an only child, a wonderful wife, an amazing mom, a cousin, a friend and a wonderful woman.

Amigos, mi cuñada Stephanie Maldonado Lancara (Fanny) ha ido a morar con Dios de forma inesperada. Fanny, fue al hospital a tener una cirugía donde le removieron un tumor benigno en la pituitaria. Luego de la cirugía tuvo una reaccion que no se le atendió a tiempo causandole muerte cerebral.

Como se pueden imaginar, la familia esta destruida. Y los gastos que nos tocan son muchos. Fanny era de Puerto Rico y deseamos cumplir con su deseo de morar en su isla. En addición de cubrir gastos medicos, de autopsia, de transporte y fúnebres, queremos darle un poco de ayuda a mi hermana que no va a trabajar por unas semanas.

Su ayuda es apreciada en este momento de devastación para su familia. Fanny será recordada como hija, esposa, amiga, prima y mujer amada por muchos.
