Fanara Family Fund

Hello, We are the family and friends of Paul Fanara and we are raising money to help Paul in the fight of his life.

Paul Fanara is the definition of a Family Man. In any given room, you can bet he is the hardest worker; he's probably also the most dedicated father and a well-loved one at that. He is the apple of his family's eye, not least of all in the eyes of his son, Tony. Tony spent a large portion of his childhood convincing anyone who would listen, that basically anything your father did, his did better. A bold claim, but more often than not he was simply correct. He was reporting the facts as they were: Paul is an extraordinary man.

Paul also has cancer for the second time in 6 months. With the ever-present support of his family last summer, Paul battled and beat esophageal cancer, reputed to be one of the trickier and more painful cancers to

treat. He returned to work as soon as his doctor allowed, determined to continue to be the

provider he has always been for his son, and his wife, Tammy. To everyone's absolute dismay, the

cancer has returned and his condition has progressed to the point where he can no longer operate the painting/contracting business he built from the ground up.

We, Paul's family, ask for your help in extending his legacy of supporting and

providing for his family. The expenses associated with Paul's treatment have been and will continue to be

a burden that they have up to now weathered gracefully, but not without making

sacrifices and draining savings all of which have been worth it. However, it has left

the college education fund that Paul painstakingly saved on Tony's behalf near to

empty with more impending medical bills and now recently no feasible way for Paul

to replace that money the way he always has (hard work). This is where you come

in.

In collaboration with you, we hope to rebuild Tony's education fund which will serve as both

Paul's wishes and a testament to the future Paul built for Tony, his beloved only son. He put

blood, sweat, tears, and all his excess love into the financial security he gave his son and

hopes your donations will help him make sure his son can finish his education at the University of Illinois in Sports Broadcasting.

You can help us in honoring Paul's wishes by providing whatever money you can, which will

go directly to replace those educational funds and to pay for future medical bills in his next important fight.
