On behalf of a dear friend and their family, I’m reaching out to ask for help during a heartbreaking time. Their family-owned jewelry store Meza’s Jewelry in El Monte, California, was recently robbed — and the thieves took everything.
This wasn’t just a store — it was their life’s work, built over the span of 5 years with love, sacrifice, and endless dedication. The business was more than just a livelihood — it was a source of pride, a cornerstone of the community, and a legacy passed down through generations.
The loss is not only financial but deeply emotional. Everything they worked so hard for has been stolen in a single, devastating moment.
We’re setting a goal of $100,000 to help them start rebuilding. These funds will go toward replacing inventory, repairing damages, covering insurance gaps, and giving them a fighting chance to reopen and restore what was taken from them.
If you’ve ever known a small business owner, you know the kind of heart, grit, and hours they pour into their dream. This family has always been there for their customers — now it’s our turn to be there for them.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Every dollar, every share, every kind word helps. Let’s rally around this family and show them that the community stands with them.
Thank you so much for your support.
