Hi, my name is Shameal. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and although I now live in the UK, my heart will always be with my home community in Manchester Jamaica.

Recently, Hurricane Melissa tore through our area, leaving families in complete devastation. Many have lost their homes, their belongings, and even their sense of hope. Roofs have been blown away, homes destroyed, and everyday essentials washed away.

Its painful to see people I grew up with- Hardworking, Kind , and humble now struggling to find food, shelter, and basic necessities.

right now, the community urgently needs:

Roofing materials to rebuild their homes

Food and clean water

baby essentials for young families

Hygiene and sanitary products

This is not a charity-run fundraiser- it’s a personal effort from someone who truly knows and loves this community.

Every donation will go directly to the families affected, helping them to rebuild their homes and restore hope.
