Last night around 5pm on the 18th, my apartment caught fire. It originated in the kids' room. The closet was engulfed quickly, and the heat and smoke spread throughout the whole house. Everything is a complete loss. If the fire didn't get it, the smoke did. In the fire, I lost one of my dogs (Snoop). He was the one who alerted my wife that something was wrong, but in the middle of trying to vacate, he got trapped in the room and passed from the smoke.
