On August 4, 2025, I was called into the office at my place of work and I was wrongfully terminated due to an honest mistake I did. When I did the mistake I contacted and reported it to my general manager immediately!!! Keep in mind this was also the place where I lived and worked for, for a year and 2 months. Upon me getting this job me and the employer signed a contract stating that upon termination or me separating with the company that I had to vacate the premises by 6pm the same day since I was a live in worker, if that was to ever accur. A new general manager began working for the hotel I worked for about a month ago and she has completely replaced the staff and has went against the companies polices Monday, August the 4th, without no "write up" and/or disciplinary actions, she terminated me. Me, my partner, and my 3 kids had to leave just like that with no notice, no warning, no anything. She then contacted me rushing me that she wanted me to leave by 5pm. Knowing that I had a vehicle in the parking lot that was not working, my 3 kids that are about to start school on Monday, thats coming up, August 11th. With no warning, heads up, nothing. Not even a valid reason of why I was being terminated for an honest mistake that happen 3 weeks prior. So on the drop of a dime we texted our parents and reached out for help cause the situation was rather shocking, surprising and extremely painful. At this moment our family is homeless, we are struggling to provide food for our family of 5. For those of you that know us you know we dont reach out to anyone asking for help and we try our best not to bother anyone but at this point we are at rock bottom and we are asking our friends and family members and whoever can help us. Anything that anyone can help us with is greatly appreciated and we will be very grateful as we go thru these rough times. It took alot for us to do this but we are trying to do everything possible to get any help and or resources for us to be able to get out of this situation.
