We’re reaching out to share an unexpected crisis that has turned our lives upside down — and to humbly ask for your support.

While we were away for just three days, a bathroom sink pipe burst and silently flooded our entire home. By the time we returned, water had seeped into every corner of the house. Our wood-like tile flooring was soaked, our area rugs were completely destroyed, and the water damaged our baseboards, walls, and interior paint. To make matters worse, mold has started to spread throughout several areas of the home due to the moisture.

We’re currently working with our insurance company, but unfortunately, their coverage will only take care of a portion of the damage. That leaves us facing a long road of repairs and restoration — from mold remediation and drywall replacement to repainting, reinstalling baseboards, and replacing essential furniture and household items that were affected.

We’re raising funds to help with:

• Mold removal and remediation

• Wall, baseboard, and paint repairs throughout the house

• Plumbing repairs to prevent this from ever happening again

• Replacing ruined area rugs, damaged furniture, and other essentials

• Creating a safe, clean, and livable space for our family once again
