Life has thrown my family some incredibly difficult challenges recently, and I find myself reaching out for help. My husband was recently diagnosed with Mitchell disease, a rare condition that has left him unable to work and struggling even with basic daily activities. This diagnosis has completely altered the course of our lives, and we are doing everything we can to adapt-but we can't do it alone.

In the midst of the struggles, our living situation has become untenable. For the last six years, our landlord has refused to make necessary repairs to our roof, and after enduring leaks, further damage, we were recently evicted. We have a large family, and now, on top of everything else, we are facing the very real possibility of homelessness.

Adding to the pressure, our vehicle has broken down, leaving us stranded at home and unable to search for work or help any further than walking distance. We are overwhelmed, exhausted, and trying to cling to hope.

But we haven't given up! We are doing everything we can to stay strong for our children and find a way out of this situation. However, we need help-desperately.
