Family of 4 needs help with heating

MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY, INCLUDING HER HUSBAND AND 2 YOUNG SONS, AGES 8 AND 5, ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF FINANCIAL HELP TO REPLACE THEIR NON-WORKING OIL BURNER AND ELECTRIC WATER HEATER BEFORE THE FREEZING WINTER WEATHER HITS. THEY LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND, HAVE A PELLET STOVE IN THEIR BASEMENT AREA, BUT NO HEAT UPSTAIRS IN THEIR MAIN LIVING AREA AND IN BEDROOMS. THE POSSIBILITY OF PIPES FREEZING IN WINTER IS ALSO A CONCERN. THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN QUOTES FROM LOCAL PLUMBERS BETWEEN $7,000 - $8,900, TO REPLACE EVERYTHING LABOR INCLUDED. THEY ARE ALSO TRYING TO SECURE A HEAT-LOAN THROUGH THE MASS SAVES PROGRAM, BUT UNSURE THEY WILL QUALIFY; EVEN IF THEY DO QUALIFY, THE PAYMENT ON THE LOAN WILL BE MORE THAN THEY CAN AFFORD AT THIS TIME.
THIS FAMILY GIVES TO OTHERS IN EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE, SO PLEASE THINK ABOUT GIVING TO THEM IN THEIR TIME OF NEED!
I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THE FOLLOWING STORY SO YOU UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION.
Eight years ago, my daughter, had a great job with a jewelry company and was very happy and healthy, so we thought. While pregnant, she ended up having an Emergency C-Section at 35 weeks into her pregnancy to deliver her first son. This was a week after finding a major blood clot (Deep Vein Thrombosis-DVT) in her left leg, and discovery of multiple emboli (small blood clots) in her lungs. Before the C-Section, doctors implanted an IVC Filter through her Jugular Vein to keep more clots from reaching her lungs.
I’ll never forget when my daughter told me that she didn’t want to die and leave her baby without her. To say the least, they’re lucky they lived! She found out after-the-fact that she has Factor V Leiden’s Mutation Disorder, a Blood Clotting Disorder, which can cause major Blood Clots¸ Stroke, or Death. Then, five days after giving birth, she underwent a major surgery, Thrombolysis, to break up the blood clots in her legs. She was forced to lie on her stomach for over 3 hours, even though her C-Section incision was still healing and very painful. During this surgery, she awoke from the anesthesia and could feel everything, but could not speak to let the nurse or doctor know she needed more medication. At this time, the doctor also implanted a long mesh Stent in her Iliac Vein in the left leg, due to permanent damage caused by the large clots and narrowing of the vein. It was a very traumatic situation for her. And then, one and a half months later, she underwent another surgery to attempt to remove the IVC Filter (it was supposed to be a temporary implantation). At that time, the doctor discovered a large clot attached to the filter and had to leave the Filter in the vein. One more attempt was made to remove the Filter, but the doctor then found it was lodged in her vein, crooked, and cannot be removed.
Three years later, my daughter delivered her second son by Emergency C-Section at 33 weeks, after being monitored during her pregnancy as extremely High-Risk. She had developed H.E.L.L.P. Syndrome Pre-Eclampsia, possibly as a result of injecting Lovenox (blood thinner) two-times per day throughout the entire pregnancy. At the time of delivery, her blood pressure was at stroke-level, and she was at risk of having seizures.
My daughter suffered tremendously, both physically and emotionally, after her second son's birth, and remained in ICU for 48 hours. We really didn’t know if she or my grandson were going to make it, because her blood pressure rose to 200 over 100. Her baby was born at 4 pounds, and remained in the NICU for over 5 weeks. He didn’t have the opportunity to bond with my daughter, because she was also very sick and could not hold him initially.
Since then, my daughter has developed multiple occasions of phlebitis and blood clots in her legs and remains today with the IVC Filter implanted, which is now known to be dangerous. She also takes Coumadin and other medications for the rest of her life. She has also developed Fibromyalgia from the damage done to her tissues during both pregnancies.
I am telling her story because it has had a huge impact on her ability to do what she used to be able to do, and cannot sustain her energy for any length of time without becoming debilitated, both emotionally and physically. She tries her very best to get out and teach others about well-being, and using non-toxic products in their lives, but doesn’t like to talk about her medical condition.
Today, both of her sons have developed learning disabilities and emotional problems, and doctors attribute this possibly to their premature births and medications that my daughter may have had prior to delivery. The medical co-payments and out-of-pocket medical appointments have taken a toll on them financially.
Her husband is a great man, husband and father, and works his heart out to make ends meet for his family. If anybody out there can help out this family right now in their time of need, I’m sure it will come back to you someday!
Thank you for any help you can give them.
Please have a Wonderful Christmas and New Year and May God Bless Us All!
Sincerely,
Nancy
