Family's Devastating loss due to Covid-19

Mayra Gomez, a friend and coworker, recently lost both her husband and father to COVID-19. At the beginning of April three of her family members (her husband Saul, her father Francisco and her mother Maria) were hospitalized with COVID-19. In recent weeks both her her husband and father passed away. Mayra's mother continues to fight her battle to beat this virus. The tremendous loss has created both an emotional and financial burden. We would like to try to provide her family with financial relief for medical and funeral expenses through this account. 

Francisco Gomez (81) passed away on 5/2/2020 leaving behind his wife Maria (who is still hospitalized), his sons: Alfredo, Martin, Diego; his daughters: Silvia, Francisca, Rosario, Teresa, and Mayra, he also leaves behind eleven grand kids, nieces, nephews and multiple friends. 

Saul Velazquez (38) passed away on 5/12/2020 leaving behind his wife Mayra, his parents Adolfo and Lulu, his sister Arcelia, his beautiful niece Valeria and multiple friends as well.

Mayra’s family is  loved and respected by their community, congregation and friends. Francisco and Saul were known by their friends, their community and their congregation for always putting the needs of everyone around them before their own. They both had a huge heart and would always make you feel welcomed. You could always count on them. They will forever be missed and we ask that you keep the family in your prayers.
