Our family suffered a tremendous tragedy when our family home burned down. At the time of the fire our mother was returning from a trip to take care of her elderly mother and implement end of life care . In the house were the father and 6 children, many disabled. One of the oldest children in the home made multiple trips in and out of the fire to save her siblings, incurring burns with each trip. The fire took the life of one of the children. Currently 3 children remain in several hospital. The father is in critical condition as a result of trying to go back into the fire to save his children.

The house is a total loss. All of the speciality medical equipment is destroyed. Our family will need housing, medical supplies, living expenses and much over the next stage of our life.
