Hello Everyone! My name is Sheba Everett and I am making this GoFundMe in support of my sister Kezia Everett and her 6 children who lost their home and everything they had in a house fire on April 5, 2023. I am asking us to gather in the community to help support her and her children in rebuilding their lives after this tragedy. Being that they lost everything they owned in the fire, there are lots of immediate, temporary, and long term needs like clothing etc., temporary shelter and a new home.
Kezia is an amazing, hard working single mother supporting her oldest daughter in college and 5 sons in elementary and high school. Just a few days before the fire, Zia purchased her children new beds and other household items, pulling double shifts at Duke hospital, overnights and while her children were in school. This made them all very happy and proud of their mom, which makes this tragedy even more heart wrenching. Kezia and the kids have already suffered some tragic losses this past year including that of her younger brother, so rebuilding and getting to a place of comfort and security is vital to their well-being as they continue to heal from previous losses.
All donations will go towards helping Kezia and her children pick up the pieces left behind by this tragedy, and will be appreciated more than you’ll ever know.
We want to thank everyone in advance for your donations, well wishes and prayers.
On behalf of Kezia, Layah, zamir, Shon, Malachi, Kj and Caleb,
Thank you!
