If you just knew Glenn and Amy- Youth pastors at CCC and their great children; Meghan, Lyndsey, George, and Hudson- You would fall in love with them! They give and give and give- and now, I hope you'll join me in giving back to them.
Unbelievably, this family's van has been held hostage by the Dodge Dealership in Independence, MO for 5 months.
UNBELIEVABLE- read on!
The Fletchers bought a KIA van for the family last year. It had 29,000 miles and came with a warranty up to 100,000 miles.
so far so good, right?
They also bought an extended warranty from the Dodge Dealership in Independence, MO.
all bases covered, right? Actually, unbelievably- NO!
Their KIA van broke down. It had only 56,000 miles at that time. The Dealership charged $500.00 to just look at it and determine the problem!
DIAGNOSIS: engine went bad- no problem right? The Fletcher were prepared because both warranties are still good..... aren't they?
NOPE!
KIA refuses to honor their warranty.
The Dodge Dealership refuses to honor their extended warranty.
The want another $8,200.00 from the Fletchers for a new engine????!!!!! (this said engine would be under a "new" warranty for a year-if that's not ironic- I don't know what is)
The Fletchers have been 5 months- YEP-- 5 months without their van! 5 months of trying to figure a way out of this nightmare! They've explored every option- tried to negotiate, written appeals, consulted with a lawyer, and still no solution in sight.
Would you help this great family? This isn't a "want"- it's truly a need. They need their van back! All money will go to getting them a new engine.
