Calling on the College Football Family
College football has always been at the center of Jayce’s world — and ours. Born in Oregon cheering for the Ducks and most recently marching with the University of Arkansas Razorback Band, Jayce has lived and breathed the game his whole life.
Now 19, Jayce is battling relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) 60 days after bone marrow transplant. His doctors recently cleared him for a special trip — to Hawaii, the week after next — a rare opportunity to step away from hospitals and focus on what matters most: time with family.
This trip means everything. It’s a chance for our nephew Jayce to be surrounded by the people who’ve stood beside him his entire life — through every victory and setback. Our family and Sierra Tran’s family will be joining him to make this time unforgettable — a celebration of love, strength, and togetherness.
We created this fund to help make that possible: to support Jayce’s family, our family, and Sierra’s family as we travel to Hawaii and share this moment with him. Every donation, message, and share helps ensure the people who love Jayce most can be by his side. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us make this time together happen. ❤️
Tiffany is my sister-in-law, and I’ve known her since she was sixteen. No matter how far apart we’ve been or how much time has passed, there’s always been a special bond between our families that never fades. Sierra and Tiffany’s friendship runs even deeper — lifelong friends who grew into motherhood together. When Jayce was born, they were living together, raising him side by side in their early twenties. Sierra has been there from the very beginning — a steady, loving force in Jayce’s life ever since.
Even from the hospital, Jayce has kept up with every Oregon and Arkansas game this year — cheering on his Ducks with his Uncle Robby (Tiffany’s brother and my husband) and celebrating his Razorback band family from afar. His love for the game and the community around it never fades. He’s proof that the spirit, teamwork, and connection this sport builds never go away.
Every bit of support makes a difference. Ducks, Razorbacks, and the entire college football family — your encouragement means the world.
If you’d like to help make this dream trip possible, please donate or share Jayce’s journey.
