Family Tragedy While Working Abroad

Donation protected
While working in Northern Vermont as exchange students, Fabiola Choque and Joseph Choque (they are cousins), had a life altering tragedy happen back in Peru. On 2/7/2020, they were informed that their family was in a car accident. In the car were Fabiola's father, mother and 13 year old brother as well as Joseph's mother and 12 year old sister. Their vehicle was struck by a bus. Unfortunately Fabiola's father and Joseph's sister passed away. Fabiola's brother walked away with some minor injuries, but Fabiola's mother as well as Joseph's mother are still in the hospital.

Due to medical costs, both Joseph (22 years old) and Fabiola (19 years old) are staying in Northern Vermont for another month to work and pay for these medical bills. This has caused an extreme strain on these two wonderful young adults as they are making the sacrifice of not being with the rest of their family in this time of need, but working to help pay for the medical bills and funeral.

We hope to raise enough money for them so they can transfer their mothers to a better health facility, where they can get the care they need. Any little bit helps and we thank you for helping these two amazing people out.
