Family To Travel and Be Close To Dad

Hi everyone. My dad Tony Shone took a massive bleed in the brain on Monday whilst he was driving his work truck in Plymouth. He is in critical condition over in Plymouth and all our family live in NI and America. My family as well as his best friend flew over and drove across the country to be with him and have been at his bedside since. The fact he is still with us is a miracle.

Dad is not out of the woods yet but is holding strong and we need to be with him 24/7 to help with his care. He cannot communicate or do anything for himself so we are working with speech therapists, stroke specialists etc over in Plymouth. The cost for flights, car hire and accommodation is extremely expensive due to it being peak summer season. If Dad survives he won’t be able to be transferred home to NI for many weeks so it means our family need to be here with him everyday. We are asking our family friends to help anyway they can. Or if you know anyone in Plymouth with accommodation contacts so we can source a rental property instead of hotels that would be amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
