Family Support for the Hoeksema’s

Hello,

My name is Sabrina Tornabuono, a life long friend of Melanie Hoeksema. I wish I was able to speak about the Hoeksema family in different circumstances however, today we are mourning the loss of the beloved Dylan Hoeksema. Dylan leaves behind his parents, siblings, his partner Melanie, and son Oliver. On Monday July 5th, Dylan was driving to pick up his son after work when he crashed head on with another vehicle. He was airlifted to Hamilton General where despite the best efforts of the medical team, he did not survive. He passed away with his loving family by his side. Overcome with great sadness and shock, Melanie now has to continue on strongly for her and Dylan’s beautiful 18 month old son, Oliver. With Dylan’s passing, Melanie is left with many financial responsibilities such as their mortgage, Dylan’s student loans and car payments, and funeral costs.
