My name is Melinda Heffelfinger. A couple of years ago, God blessed me with a friendship that blossomed into family.
Elvin and crystal Vargas
,have been there for so many others, now it's their turn to receive a blessing.
- Earlier this month, Elvin had a portion of his foot removed due to repeated infections. After surgery, it has spread to the bone. This now requires them to remove the leg just below the knee. They have already been under financial burden as well as emotional grief, as they both lost their mothers within the last year.
