In Memory of Daniel Parent

It is with great shock and almost unbearable grief that we announce the sudden death of Daniel Parent on February 9, 2020, at the age of just 39. Dan was larger than life in all the best ways, and so this description of his life will be too!

Dan lit up a room, could talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime, and we honestly cannot imagine family gatherings without him! Intense, deeply caring and with a heart even bigger than his muscles, Dan gave 110% to everyone and everything he cared about. He loved animals and children and they adored him back! His passion for the Marines and for our country was unending, and his service to the United States was a rightful source of pride to him and his family. And who could know Dan and not know that the Philadelphia Eagles are the best football team on the planet?!?

But his love and passion for all of that paled in comparison to his love for his beautiful, fun-loving and super thoughtful wife Natalie. Describing her many times as "THE BEST THING" that ever happened to him, Dan and Nat have been a couple since high school. Through ups and down, wins and losses, they loved each other with a fierceness and loyalty no one could divide. That she has to keep living without him is a heartbreak we truly do not have words for. Especially tragic, and joyful at the very same time, is the news that Natalie is expecting their first child in August. None of us could believe Dan kept it secret as he was over the moon at the prospect of being a father! We are moved to tears that Nat will have to do this without him, but she won't be doing it alone, as we will all be there to love that little piece of himself Dan has left behind.

Daniel Served in the United States Marine Corps as Combat Engineer  (1371) from 1998-2002.

Please help in any way you can to assist his family in any way during this challenging time.

Thank you!
