In Loving Memory of Carlos and Support for His Family

Our beloved Carlos Alberto Parra Olivera passed away January 2, 2025. Carlos shared his light and love with everyone he met as an educator , activist and a friend. His absence will leave an emptiness in the lives of many community members , students and friends but especially his parents , siblings and his daughter .

"He would hug you even if you didn't know him. He would help anyone who needed help and support them in any way he could. Anyone he came into contact with instantly became his friend."

We are raising funds to help with funeral expenses and support his immediate family during this difficult time as they grieve and plan for the future . There will be a kermés announced at a later date in celebration of his life .

Update : After receiving the medical bills and funeral costs for Carlos, we have raised our fundraising goal. All donations will go to cover these costs and support Carlos daughter Amber.

Nuestro querido Carlos Alberto Parra Olivera falleció el 2 de enero de 2025. Carlos compartió su luz y amor con todos los que conoció como educador, activista y amigo. Su ausencia dejará un vacío en la vida de muchos miembros de la comunidad, estudiantes y amigos, pero especialmente en las vidas de sus padres, hermano y hermana y su hija.

These recordings will be here for his daughter Amber so when she gets older she can fully understand what an amazing person Carlos was. To Contribute:
