Mother suffers injuries after house fire

My daughter, Koriann Brown, who is a twin and a mother of two sons, was recently in a house fire and suffered 2nd degree burns to her entire face, torso, both arms, and legs. Her hands received the most severe damage.

Initially, she was transported by ambulance to the University of Missouri hospital here in Columbia, Missouri. The burn team feared she would lose mobility in her fingers and made the decision to have her transferred to KU Medical in Kansas City, Missouri.

Anyone that knows the “Brown Twins,” knows they have an impeccable work ethic. However, with Koriann’s injuries it is unknown at this point and time when she’ll be able to return to work, which is a major concern for Koriann.

The family will be contacting any and all resources to assist Koriann and her children with remaining financially stable while Annie recuperates. In the meantime, we are asking extended family, friends, and the community ,for any donations that will help bring Koriann peace of mind as she focuses on her healing ❤️‍.
