Family struggling after near fatal accident.

HelIo everyone…. My name is Brandi Provost (Adam’s mother) as well as Adam’s brother Mekhi. Adam Recently had gotten into a tragic motorcycle accident and has been fighting life threatening injuries since September 24th at 9PM, and now is fighting for his life on life support and left in a medically induced coma. A man driving a SUV was at a stop sign on Centre St going onto Wharncliffe Rd S. Adam was heading up the street, on his bike in the left lane, on the right side of the street. The SUV at the stop sign went without seeing Adam and that was the cause of the collision.

Adam is 23 years of age and IS/was the sole provider for his family, he has 2 very young children under the age of 3 and a wife. He is a union worker that was extremely dedicated to his work and loved doing his job every single day. Adam was always working towards a promotion….finally last month he got a promotion to the “Bruce Power Plant”, asbestos and abatement. This has been and was his “dream job” and now unfortunately has lost his dream in the matter of seconds, due to a neglectful driver! Adam was completely innocent in all of this!

Adam has now gone threw severe brain swelling, 2 strokes , an arm amputation to his right arm, extensive surgery done to his right leg and foot due to all his ligaments being torn, a massive blood clot and dislocation in his knee, Also extensive surgery to his right side artery in his chest due to all the impact all on his right side. He has also been through many many many hours of other surgeries. He also has had to have a tracheotomy done to assist his breathing. Adam was always full of love and laughter, and always made sure his kids and family came first before anything. He always pushed his friends and family to do their best in life, always made sure his friends were ok and had everything they needed. What ever Adam wanted he went out and worked for it and got it. Adam is left in critical condition and was the most critical patient in London. He has months and months of being in the hospital as well as recovery. Today marks 11 days of him being in the hospital, with many more days to come.

He’s a true man, a phenomenal son, father, brother, nephew, husband, grandson and friend. He has been even so much more than that, and he’s not one to ask for anything BUT…. we need to ask for support and help in this difficult time for him, and his young family. His wife and two small children need all the help they can get to be able to support themselves now that Adam is unable to provide for his family due to this accident. There are many things they need financial help with and Adam’s recovery process will be very extensive. We also want to make sure Adam will be taken care of during this process.
