Our family is requesting support in flying our parents and siblings out of Afghanistan. Both our parents and our sister hold green cards, but were unable to be evacuated back to the United State in time. Our parents are both in very poor health and require urgent medical attention, and our sister is their primary caregiver. The airport is currently open and allowing flights to certain countries, however, we were told that flights could stop at any time, so it is urgent that we fly them out as soon possible. Any support you can provide will go toward purchasing tickets, visas and hotel costs along the way, and hopefully from there, we can bring them home to safety.

 

We have several other siblings that are in danger and need to be evacuated as soon as possible. Any funds that exceed the goal will go toward getting them out as well. For the safety of our family, we can not provide names or details, but we are deeply grateful for your help in whatever form it is possible.

UPDATE:

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and helped us reach our original goal. This amount will allow us to fly our parents and sister out of the country and to a safe destination. However, in order to bring them all the way home we have had to adjust the goal to a higher number. After consulting airlines, we have had to adjust our price calculation  and intended route home ($1300/person to fly to the first stop, and $3,300/person to fly to the US from there. We have also had to calculate the price of hotels and visas). Any help that can be provided would be incredibly appreciated. We are deeply appreciative of all those that have so generously helped thus far.
