Franco and his wife had their own restaurant business trying to make a living in Honduras. Their dreams were quickly crushed as criminals increasingly assaulted not only them and their business but even their customers.

Not only was their livelihood at risk, but so were their lives. In efforts to stay alive and be able to work hard, they came to MD. After 9 years of peaceful living, the father was abducted by ICE and taken to Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in Florida after taken to Louisiana and being told that their detention center was too full.

A decade ago, Franco escaped violence, only to end up being treated like a criminal after being racially profiled by ICE agents. Furthermore, then unjustly thrown into a prision with the types of people he tried to escape from.

Please help Franco’s family cover rent, food and legal aid. Franco was abducted just prior to finishing a job and getting paid— therefore the family has no means to pay rent due a few weeks back.

Franco y su esposa tenían su propio restaurante y se ganaban la vida en Honduras. Sus sueños se vieron truncados rápidamente cuando los delincuentes comenzaron a atacarlos a ellos, a su negocio e incluso a sus clientes.

No solo estaba en riesgo su sustento, sino también sus vidas. Para sobrevivir y poder seguir trabajando, se mudaron a Maryland. Después de nueve años de vivir en paz, Franco fue detenido por ICE y llevado a la Penitenciaría Federal de Alcatraz en Florida, tras haber sido trasladado a Luisiana, donde le informaron que el centro de detención estaba demasiado lleno.
