Family Scammed By Green Terra Homes

Green Terra homes has scammed many families out of thousands of dollars when they were promised a new built tiny home. 

This is Tammy and Allan. As all their children were moving out of the rental they shared, they loved the idea of a minimalist lifestyle and building a tiny home for the two and them and grandchild who they care for.  They came across Green Terra Homes on HGTV and was ‘endorsed’ by big names such as Bryan Baeumler. They contacted the company, loved what they saw and were promised and put money towards the down payment. As time went on communication slowed down, and what they did hear was errors in the drawings, the material was back ordered and the completion date kept getting pushed back. 

Unfortunately after being super excited about their tiny home, it was found that Green Terra homes has gone bankrupt and they would not be receiving what they paid for as well as a refund for the about  $80,000 spent on down payment,  permits, etc.

I’ve set up this go fund me page to help them raise money to be able to put a down payment on a already built house, as they are currently living at their daughters’ two bedroom apartment. They put out their life savings, sold their property they rented out, all to lose everything they had. 

This money will be directly given to them to help them purchase a home and costs of moving. These two are such amazing and caring people and do not deserve what happened to them and we are just trying to help them get back to what they had planned for their life.
