Family running from the war in Ukraine

Greetings,

My name is Mina Makar, my wife is Svitlana. God blessed us with 3 beautiful children, 6years old and 2,5 years old twin boys. Our kids were born and raised in Canada. Our oldest son have Cerebral Palsy, which require physiotherapy and special attention.

We were deported from Canada to Ukraine in January 2022 after losing our Humanitarian and Compassionate case.

For the last 5 years we were building our life in Canada, engaging in community service, making friends, building a career.

We had to leave our beautiful life and friends and fly to Ukraine.

One month later, Russia invaded Ukraine, putting all of us at high risk.

We took our kids and just ran, leaving behind our new life again.

Our flee journey took 3 days in the car, with another road risk and danger, just to reach the border.

For the last 5 month we didn’t have home, we were moving between Poland, Germany and Switzerland.

Kids are exhausted and traumatized. All this time we had our hope to come back to Canada, so our kids can have their lives back.

God heard our prayers, we got our visas and returning back to Canada at the end of July.
