On Tuesday, January 17th, 24-year-old Summer Myomick and her baby boy, Clyde Ongtowasruk III, tragically passed away after injuries sustained in what was the first fatal polar bear attack in Alaska since the 90s.

Summer's parents and siblings in Saint Michael, Alaska are still waiting to hear when they will return to Saint Micahel to be laid to rest. The expenses are building as they take time from work to grieve, but are also preparing to host visitors and family from across the state, help with airfare, funeral costs, and trips to and from the airport.
