Family of Recovering Father Could Use a Little Assistance

James Gerdes is a married father of three who has recently had bilateral blood clots in his lungs. A few weeks ago he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they had to perform an emergency procedure to remove the blood clots. He will be hospitalized for at least a couple of months and will be unable to return to work. His family is in need and could very much use, and would greatly appreciate, any assistance they could get to help cover the bills, until he can return to his full time job. They realize that times are hard for everyone, so they do not expect anyone to go out of their way, but even a small amount would help go towards rent or groceries.
