My friend Trina's significant other of 18 years, Rob, was in a horrific motorcycle accident on 6/21/25 on Hwy 92 in Woodstock. It was not his fault someone pulled out in front of him. He sustained critical injuries. He arrived at the hospital with internal bleeding and required emergency surgery to remove his spleen. He has numerous fractures. He has a fractured pelvis, radius, and ulnar that all need surgery to repair. He also has facial fractures that will need surgery to repair. His maxilla, nose, and sinus are all fractured. He lost several teeth in his mandible that will need replacement. He may need future surgeries on his pelvis. He will need lots of physical therapy and rehab and his recovery will be ongoing for months we hope not too long. There is no telling how long recovery will take or when he will be able to work again. His life will never be the same. His motorcycle is his passion next to his family. They just bought a house last month and haven't even made their first mortgage payment. They have a 14 year old son who is starting high school in August and this is going to be a hard road to recovery for the family. Trina will be the care taker and sole provider for Rob as well as their son.
