Jade and the boys were at home late Tuesday night, Todd was working in Florida, Jade thought that she smelled smoke and called her father-in-law to come check on things, they did not find anything so she and the boys went back to bed. An hour or so later, there was a loud pop in the master bedroom, Jade gets Copen and Creek out of the house, she at this point knows there is fire in the attic, smoke is in the house. Jade goes outside, sends the boys to stand on the portable building porch right behind her while she is trying to get a water hose, call 911, call Todd etc, she is talking to 911 and spraying water on the roof and the main highline that goes to the house burns into and slaps Jade in the face, its a wonder that it didnt electrocute her or even the boys. We are all so thankful that they are safe, as we know that this could have been so much worse, and possibly happened when they were asleep. They want to thank Center Fire Department for all of their help saving pictures and many other valuables. We are just trying to help them get some extra money for things that they may need. Thank you for all the calls, prayers and donations. We are truly so blessed to live in Shelby County with so many friends and family that are always so willing to help when needed. Thank you from Jade, Todd, Copen and Creek
