Family of Guadalupe Clara Hernandez López

Hello, I am fundraising to help Karla Ornelas with funeral expenses for her mother, that recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. Karla is a very kind, compassionate, intelligent, strong, and humble daughter and human being. Life for Karla and her family has been filled with adversity, but you would never know that when meeting her. Her respectful, thoughtful, emotionally balanced demeanor brings warmth to those that meet her. She has shown much strength and character throughout the numerous trials in her young life. Let’s come together to show Karla and her family that there is a community of people that want the best for her.

Here is a little something that Karla shared about her parents:

Dear friends and family,

My role as a caregiver to both my parents has come to an end. I had the honor of walking with both my mom and dad on their journeys of their illnesses. Both my mom and dad faced and fought cancer together. My mom, Guadalupe Clara Hernandez López, was diagnosed in 2017 with stage 4 liposarcoma cancer. My dad, Jorge Alberto Ornelas Chavira, was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 4 kidney cancer. With the prayers from family, friends, and the community, we fulfilled God’s mission with faith and hope. They passed away four months apart. They are now resting from the tough battles they courageously fought for the past 5 years. In our family’s hardship, we give all Honor and Glory to God.

I would like to ask the community for your support in contributing to the funeral expenses of my mother, Guadalupe Hernandez, who most recently passed away on Monday, October 24th.
