My granddaughter Chelsey and her family were victims in a recent head-on collision where they live in Las Vegas Nevada. Thank God they were in Jesus' truck that night instead of Chelsey's smaller vehicle. All were rushed to the trauma center including the driver who lost control of his vehicle.

Jesus, Chelsey, and 8-year- old Makayla were severely injured. Their 6-month old baby girl was miraculously spared injury by the grace of God, and a very good properly installed car seat. Chelsey and Makayla were immediately rushed into surgeries. Makayla has had to have two surgeries already and will need another one in the near future. They suffered head and internal injuries, broken bones, and lacerations requiring numerous stitches. We are so filled with gratitude that they all survived, but the road ahead is long and painful, especially for sweet little Makayla.

Neither mom nor dad can work due to their injuries. It will take time for them to recover. They need a lot of help being driven to medical appointments, taking care of the baby and Makayla. Expenses are mounting for hospital and medical bills, surgeries, follow-up care, rehab, travel costs, lost income, and long-term healing which are all creating an overwhelming burden.

Our family is asking for your help so they can focus on what matters most; being there for Makayla and each other. They are going to need ongoing support physically, emotionally and financially for some time.
