Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with the heaviest hearts, asking for support during one of the most devastating times in our lives. Yesterday, our family — myself, Derric, and our two little boys — experienced a fire at our apartment complex that turned our entire world upside down.

By the grace of God, we are safe and alive. We are so incredibly thankful to still have each other, but the reality we’re facing now is heartbreaking: we lost absolutely everything. All that remains are the clothes we were wearing and our vehicles.

Everything we’ve built over the years — our home, our memories, the things that made life feel warm and safe — are gone. My boys are left without their favorite toys, their clothes, their blankets… the little things that brought them comfort and joy. It’s hard to explain the feeling of watching your children try to understand why everything they know is no longer there.

To make things even harder, we found out today that the renters insurance we had only covered the structure of the building — not any of our personal belongings. So there’s no financial help to recover what we’ve lost.

We are doing our best to stay strong, to breathe, and to move forward. But right now, we are in need of help. If you feel led, we are asking for donations of any amount to help us start over. If you can’t give, we completely understand — please just share this and most importantly, keep our family in your prayers. We need every bit of strength, love, and support right now.
