As many of you have heard, Doug Bonar passed on January 9, 2019. He was a beloved father, husband, son, co-worker, friend, and member of the Farmington community.
A decade after beating prostate cancer, Doug was diagnosed in December with lung cancer. After an unsuccessful lung surgery and a variety of blood issues, the cancer rapidly spread, progressed to stage 4, and took his life within weeks of diagnosis. This has been a shocking and difficult experience for his family and those who knew Doug.
We are grateful for those who have already reached out, and anything that we receive will go toward medical bills, memorial costs, and mortgage payments to temporarily preserve peace of mind as we continue to deal with this reality and plan for what is ahead for Doug's wife, Laura, and his youngest son, Ian.
