Family of Darian Martinez

To help the family pay for services and a garden in her name.

"This has to be by far the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. My heart hurts. However, there are so many great memories with my beautiful butterfly. Darian was taken from us on 11/3 and I'm happy to say she did except Jesus as her Savior and that brings me comfort. I sat down with one of Darian good friends who wanted to start this fund and I must say I struggled and still do with the idea. I am a giver it's hard for me to ask for help. I would rather give than receive. I recently had a surgery that positioned me to ask for help in certain things and so I know our Father is teaching me something in this area. Sitting with Darian's friend I expressed why I didn't want to ask and her words penetrated my heart do deeply. She said, "don't be like Darian and not ask for help". This shattered my heart. For those that don't know Darian passed from an overdose. I had no idea she was using the drugs she was. She didn't talk to us about it and she didn't ask for help in which I would have readily have given. I humbly ask for you help during this time. I thank you in advance for your love and support.

This money will be used for several things. We have accumulated expenses from this tragedy. (medical,her transport from Dallas, viewing arrangements, and other related expenses) I'd also like to celebrate Darian's life by setting up a garden on the side of her childhood home where her friends and family can come spend time and plant things in her honor. She was loved by so many. Her friends are young and looking to heal. I want them to do just that and be able to come to the garden when they need to.
