Thank you for being here.
Knowing Chris Anderson, is knowing what a genuine and loyal person he was AND what an amazing father, husband, son, brother, friend, and police officer he was. His family was his whole world.
This is his story...
On June 6th, 2023 Chris suffered a heart attack in his sleep and never woke up. He was only 49. Which is why we need you to keep reading.
Chris was born in San Francisco and grew up in Novato. He graduated from San Marin High School and then Sacramento State. He was a D1 college soccer player and played professionally after he graduated. Soccer remained a huge part of Chris’s life both through his kids and playing competitively his entire adult life. Chris was with the San Francisco Police Department for 24 years and made many lifelong friendships in the department.
Chris was quiet but incredibly strong. A rock for his wife, Monique, and their three children, Lucq, Owen, and Tait. He would do absolutely anything for his family. He loved them fiercely and they were legitimately the most important people to him. Behind his tough facade, he shared a goofy silly side with his family.
Lucq (20) attends College of the Redwoods. Owen (16) attends Real Salt Lake Soccer Academy in Utah. Tait (14) just graduated 8th grade at St. Anselm School and is headed to Branson in the Fall.
During the days, weeks, and months ahead, Monique, Lucq, Owen, and Tait need our prayers, AND, also, they need help with the completely unforeseen and sudden expenses — and the ongoing ones. Thank you for your support.
A memorial for Chris will be held Thursday, June 15th at 11:00 am at St. Vincent's in San Rafael
