It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we share the tragic and sudden passing of our beloved brother, Aneez Haniffa, on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

While playing cricket with his team, Aneez suddenly collapsed on the field. Emergency services attempted to revive him, but despite their best efforts, Aneez returned to his Creator.

Aneez was a vibrant, kind, and selfless soul whose energy and warmth lit up every room. He was deeply loved in our community, not just for his outgoing nature, but for his consistent generosity and concern for others.

He leaves behind a grieving wife, Fathima Salahudeen, and young daughter who now face life without their pillar of strength. Aneez was also the main provider for his family back home, supporting:

His divorced sister and her two young children

His ill brother, who is a heart patient in need of urgent surgery

This sudden loss has shattered the family—not only emotionally, but financially. With Aneez gone, his loved ones are left facing overwhelming uncertainty about the future.
